Collection
BreachSAFE currently collects very little personal information. We may receive information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company information, or messages submitted when you contact us, request support, or use the service. Our website and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, access times, and server logs. This information is generally necessary to deliver, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the service. We do not currently use personal information for behavioral profiling or targeted advertising.
Use
We use personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide and improve the service, respond to questions and requests, communicate about the service, prevent fraud or misuse, protect our systems and users, and comply with applicable laws. We do not sell or rent personal information. We may allow trusted service providers to process limited information on our behalf when they help us host, secure, maintain, or support the service. We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or when reasonably necessary to protect BreachSAFE, our users, or the public.
Protection
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legitimate business, security, dispute-resolution, and legal-compliance needs. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Updates
Our privacy practices may change as BreachSAFE and its services develop. If we begin collecting additional categories of information or using information in materially different ways, we will update this notice and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after an updated notice becomes effective means the revised notice will apply to future use, subject to any additional consent required by law.
